On TransferChain you can upload 50 files at one time. We keep it as a sweet spot following the performance without compromising data privacy and security. Moreover, when taking into account browser performance limitations and the optimization of processes such as encryption and decryption on the client side, we have achieved a favorable outcome. It's worth noting that this is an area of continuous improvement. We have reached the currently provided numbers after a period of optimization. However, it's important to recognize that this figure represents only the beginning of our potential, and together, we will explore the possibilities for further development over time.

However, if you need to upload more than 50 files, you can do that easily by zipping the files.

Zipping files is a common way to compress and package one or more files into a single archive file. This can save storage space, make it easier to transfer multiple files, and help organize your data. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to zip files:

On Windows:

  1. Locate the files: Open the File Explorer and navigate to the location where your files are located.

  2. Select files: Click and hold the left mouse button while dragging your cursor over the files you want to zip. Alternatively, you can hold down the Ctrl key and click on each file to select multiple files.

  3. Right-click: After selecting the files, right-click on one of the selected files.

  4. Send to Compressed (zipped) folder: From the context menu that appears, and then click on "Compressed (zipped) folder." This will create a new zip file with the selected files.

  5. Rename (optional): The new zip file will be named based on the first file you selected. You can rename it by right-clicking on the zip file and selecting "Rename."

On macOS:

  1. Locate the files: Open Finder and navigate to the location where your files are located.

  2. Select files: Click and drag your cursor over the files you want to zip, or hold down the Command key and click on each file to select multiple files.

  3. Right-click or Control-click: After selecting the files, right-click (or Control-click) on one of the selected files.

  4. Compress [X] Items: From the context menu that appears, hover over "Compress" and then click on the number of items you selected (e.g., "Compress 3 Items"). This will create a new zip file with the selected files.

  5. Rename (optional): The new zip file will be named based on the first file you selected. You can rename it by clicking on the file name and entering a new one.
