TransferChain makes it easy to securely share sensitive files within Zendesk tickets, protecting customer data with encryption and access control. Follow these guidelines to ensure files are transferred safely.

📎 Attaching Files Securely

To attach a file using TransferChain:

  1. In a Zendesk ticket, locate the TransferChain App panel on the right-hand side.

  2. Click the Upload button to select a file from your local device.

  3. Once uploaded, a secure link will automatically be inserted into the ticket reply field.

✅ The secure link ensures your file is encrypted and only accessible via TransferChain’s secure channel.

🚫 Do Not Use the Native "Attach File" Button

⚠️ Important:
Do not use Zendesk’s built-in “Attach File” button in the reply editor.
This will bypass TransferChain and upload the file via Zendesk’s insecure file handling system.

Using the native Zendesk attachment tool exposes sensitive data and circumvents TransferChain's end-to-end encryption.

Your customers can now securely download your attached files with ease.
